Ever wanted to refer back to a previous email but don’t want to just copy and paste text into your new email? There is a way to link to your past emails in ConvertKit and I’m about to show you how.

How to link out to past emails in ConvertKit

There’s beauty in a great email strategy, but you may think that your past broadcast emails are lost in cyberspace whilst your social posts live forever in your feed.

So, you’ll be pleased to know there is a way to revive your emails from the dead and make them live on (and prosper).

Watch the quick video tutorial below, or scroll to see read the information.

Find the email link

Navigate to your Broadcasts dashboard and select the email that you want to refer or link to.

You’ll see the stats from this email and on the right you’ll see the “Share” button.

When you click that, your email will open up in the browser. You then copy and paste the URL link within the browser address bar and use that to link in your email.

Linking in your email

If you’ve been using ConvertKit a while, you’ll know exactly how to do this, but I want to include this step here because it completes the full process of linking to past emails in ConvertKit.

STEP 1: In your new email, select the text you want to link out to and then select the link button.

STEP 2: Copy the URL from your past email into the box. I like to always select “open in new window” so that your reader can always return to the original email easily.

Step 2

Et voila, you can now repurpose all your past emails if you want to refer to them in future emails!
